On a similar note, a way to retrieve or allow interactions with a character's treasury instead of their income rate would be very nice. I'd imagine it would take the form of "scaled_treasury", where a factor of 1 would select the whole treasury, 0.5 half the treasury, and so on.

Make inland Republics playable if one has "The Republic DLC" so we could mod the Italian's Communes! Better if they are not locked with Patrician Elective Succession...

Or better yet, give us another Republican Elective system!

Also, don't forget the Swiss Confederation.

The ability to have coastal merchant republics without a coastal capital (Novgorod).

Was it actually a Merchant Republic? I was under the impression that the various Russian republics were "noble republics".

A suggestion, don't make the new tribal holding permanently tied to any of the current government types.

Change holding type! If not, raze holding!!!

Yes a new Republic Succession (call it "Noble Republic" for now) could be interesting but I'll be happy if, at least, they make playable inland Republic then we could mod a different succession law starting for the "Patrician Elective".
Speaking of Republics another thing annoys me a lot is that the Patrician Clothing are not moddable in "The Commune of Rome" it feels weird to see the Consul of Rome with that "crown" it is worst when in other mod I've seen African merchant Republics really strange to see a bedouin wearing that clothes

Is it possible to make this aspects moddable, Captain Gars?

Anything do to with how successions work or adding new ones are things I'm very skeptic about. It's really complicated, often not doable, and means I (and others) have to spend way too much time on one feature instead of implementing numerous other suggestions.

Is it at least possible to have an option to remove the forced merchant clothing for republics/patrician elective realms through modding? As fanoI said, it gets jarring when you have an African republic and your character is wearing 16th century Venetian clothing in the middle of West Africa.

Don't know. Will have to look into when I'm back on CK2.

Yeah, it seems that anything to do with Merchant Republics are hard-coded. Will be nice if a lot of these aspects started become softer.

As far as clothes go, you can modify the clothing dds for merchants. No need to settle for weirdness.

Yes but if I understood well you do this for all Merchant Republics, I want to have the possibility to do this for culture as it is possible for feudal charcaters: the actual clothes are OK (with reserve) only for the Italian Merchants Republics!

Captain Gars let it go the successions law modification but it is at least possible to enable inland republics? So we could mod the Italian Communes and other inland Republics (for example The Republic of Cordoba).

You can control what clothes who wears in the portrait settings (the same way royals have certain clothes).
