Description
Abnormal Mod Manager behaviour

Mac

Steam

What is your game version?
1007874

What DLC do you have installed?
Space Race, Green Planet, Colony Design Set, In-Dome Buildings Pack

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
Mod Manager. Installed mods initially wrongly reported as zero, loading symbol persists over installed mods, unable to add mods either from the browsing section or a mod's individual page. When adding a mod from the Steam Workshop instead of the Mod Manager it doesn't appear at all. Vid attached (vid editor has done weird things to the brightness but you can still see what's going on).

Can you replicate the issue?
Yes. Obviously being the Mod Manager itself this is before loading a saved game or creating one, and has been going on for a couple of days. I'm not absolutely sure but I think it was normal for at least one session after the last patch, so I'm not sure it's patch related or even if it's a bug as such rather than some sort of communication issue. Just in case I turned my VPN off and it didn't make any difference.

Yeah, that's likely the culprit by the sounds of it. Thought it sounded good so I downloaded it, but it has never actually showed up in the Mod Manager and since the problems started after that I didn't realise it might have been in hiding and messing things up. Not sure how I'm going to get rid of it if it's not showing in the Mod Manager though.

Edit: Ok, using ChoGGi_2's location for the Windows game folder I took a look around the Mac's library folders and found where the game mods live. It's /Users/USERNAME/Library/Application Support/Surviving Mars/PopsMods. For those MacOS users who may not realise please note that this is the Library folder in your Home directory, not the HDDNAME/Library one, and by default it's hidden. Simplest way to get to it is open a Finder window, click the Go menu and hold down the Option/Alt key to make Library appear on the drop down menu under Go. Needless to say do not make a habit of messing around in the Library deleting things and do make sure you have a Time Machine backup before you do.

Thanks ChoGGi_2 for the info. Now I'm off to give that mod a one star review.
