Description
Asteroid lander rocket lost if taking off same sol as asteroid leaves range.

Windows

Steam

What is your game version?
Below and beyond hotfix 3

What DLC do you have installed?
Space Race, Green Planet, Below and Beyond, Stellaris Dome Set, Marsvision Song Contest, Colony Design Set, Project Laika, In-Dome Buildings Pack

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
If you have an asteroid lander rocket take off the same sol as an asteroid leaving range, but not "at the last second" using the game's internal failsafe, the rocket vanishes. If it can't get into orbit before the asteroid leaves range, it's considered "lost" along with the things on the asteroid.

Can you replicate the issue?
Yes. If the rocket waits until the last second, the game takes care of it correctly. However, if the rocket fills up before the last second and takes of a few hours early, the rocket is lost improperly.

It did eventually come back! I was surprised!
I think it just doesn't get the benefit of the 75% travel time tech.
