Colonists suffocating traveling between domes

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
I have a dome setup that causes people traveling between the two domes to suffocate. They do not use tunnels present or use the additional tunnel I tried to construct later to alleviate the issue. They also do not wait for the shuttles to come, although some people seem to be getting transported by them (to the dome on the other level). The issue is between the two domes on the bottom of the map.
Can you replicate the issue?
Replicated via savegame below. People keep trying to go for a mad dash across the open plains.
