We'll take a look at your configuration - but from the log files it seems that you run on a Haswell CPU with its integrated GPU and a MESA DRI driver.

Integrated GPUs are not officially supported under Linux and macOS, and we haven't had good luck with MESA drivers in the past.

I'm running cities:skylines with the Intel/mesa configuration fine, but I do have a optimus laptop so I will try in the Nvidia configuration as well

EDIT: The Nvidia drivers ended up making X error on start so I had to remeve them again to have a working system.
Would love for the game to work with my normal setup

Regarding Haswell (i.e. HD4400/4600) under Linux I can confirm that there are problems with the current stable Mesa version (i.e. 17.3.6).

For me, the game started but would crash with a segfault in the driver (i965) when running New Game.
Updating to the latest mesa git version (i.e.18.1) fixed the segfault, thus allowing to actually play the game, but will not resolve the texture issues and/or corrupted text.

Regarding performance, with a Core i7-4510U (2GHz), Low quality settings works okay (and with actually less texture issues right now, ~30/40fps@1366/768), making some choices allows some of options to be set to Medium and be playable (~25/30fps).

Fixing the texture and text issues would make this a great release, but in any case many thanks for suporting linux.
