Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
Following the Hotfix for the Beyond&Below patch, as described in the patch notes, I went to rebuild malfunctioning farms, however in some cases (almost entirely in Farms, rarely in Hydroponic farms), the drones fail to clear the food resource piles/the empty food resource piles simply remain in place preventing construction in that area

Can confirm, I have this same issue.

If the building is outside, a transporter can pick up the resource. If its inside, I haven't found a way of clearing the space.

Since posting this, I busied myself with something else and just noticed the piles have gone. I'm not sure what removed them.

I have noticed that sometimes they do in my save as well. however it takes extremely long, and the duration does not seem to be consistent at all. Honestly absolutely everything about food storage in this game is fucked. My depots aren't being serviced by shuttles, and my automated storage refuses to unload any food at all (it briefly worked after todays hotfix and then immediately broke again)

I have the same issue. I am running Green Planet and Space Race but not Below and Beyond.

I recently returned to this game, and it is now frankly unplayable at mid-late game.

Fix it or I will be asking for my money back.
