Hey everyone,

I've been noticing something quite disappointing lately. It looks like Paradox Interactive has basically stopped maintaining Surviving Mars. Instead of fixing the bugs we've been dealing with, they're just pumping out new DLCs to make more money.

I've come across a bunch of bugs that haven't been fixed, even though I've reported them before. Here are three examples:

  1. https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/foru...-starting-the-new-game.1489852/#post-28796916
  2. https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/foru...-fails-to-launch.1551024/page-3#post-28792678
  3. https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/foru...on-of-the-game-urgently-needs-hotfix.1482023/
I get that companies need to make money, but it's really frustrating to see them ignore the issues we're facing and just focus on selling more stuff.

If anyone from Paradox is reading this, please don't forget about the fans who love this game. It would mean a lot if you guys could address these bugs and make the game experience better for everyone.

Thanks for listening to my little rant, and I hope Paradox takes this to heart.

Which is absurd, because it is four times more popular than Surviving the Aftermatch. And instead of putting resources and time into new surviving the abyss, they could made polishing and several major DLCs.
There are about 1000 concurrent players in SM and aftermatch barely made it to 200

truly it's quite dissapointing but the original developers seem to have moved on, maybe they are planning something big but honestly just sad this game is left to rot. Probably one of the more fun city/colony builders for me on par with Frostpunk.

It is probably dead but let me remind everyone that surviving mars had huge holes inbetween dlcs before when we did not heard a thing and then they suddenly dropped the underground DLC on us. Honestly, if this game would have had the same development as something like eu4 we would have like 6 additional DLCs by now. I would just go on with my days and if we hear about a new DLC then great, and if not... well we kind of expected that.
