Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
Playing a vanilla game with only Deluxe Upgrade pack DLC installed. I started it before the recent update.
The passenger rocket menu no longer lists any option and is a mostly blank screen with no exit besides using a hotkey.

Can you replicate the issue?
Within this particular save file, yes. If I start a new game the passenger list functions normally.
Interestingly, if I load a much earlier auto save from the same playthrough, the passenger menu also still works.
I was only using the "sherlock" mod and it is disabled now.

The same issue is occurring on ps5 after the update. The passenger rocket screen loads into this blank image showing the rocket and earth, then it crashes it. You need to force close the game for a fix.

Completely ruined the game, can't do anything on it now

I have not tried this, so, no endorsement, but there is a (moderately difficult) procedure for rolling back a Steam game installation. Search in Steam's "Guides" for "How to Downgrade Game Version." (Won't let me post a link.)

Personally I will just wait for a hotfix since this is a pretty serious set of issues that I would hope is resolved soon....

I am having this issue as well.

I'm on Mac. Just updated to the most recent version. ALL of my save games are now broken!!!!

Also, the P key does not let me get out of the menu. The only way that seems to work for me is to force quit the program.

OxfordNik -- I blame Steam as much as Paradox TBH. Would be nice if Steam had a clean way to roll back a release.

Although I'm playing it on GOG and having the same problem. I had hoped they wouldn't get around to pushing the update through GOG for awhile... Sucks that my current playthrough is unplayable now. I was enjoying trying China.

We didn't make the "known issues" list for the expansion. My guess is that save compatibility isn't a priority so I may just abandon my save. Just not sure I feel like starting over at the moment.

That makes me mad because it doesn't even work for me on a brand new save. I can start a new save with a stock sponsor and still not get the option to fill a passenger rocket...

EDIT: If it helps anyone else who is having issues with new saves, I was able to get it working on a new save by deleting all my old saves and then restarting the game.

I'm having the issue on Mac too - have managed to escape with the Tab key. I played my existing save for a few sols and thought of it as a challenge for a while... but now I need new colonists for sure. Game is broken.

I've had the same problem - UI in Passenger Rocket screen does not load. I had been running the No Man's Mars mod but I uninstalled it after the last update because a warning message came up stating that it would no longer work.
I can return to the game screen by pressing Tab
