Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
After playing for a while I realized my seed count and food count was way higher than what was actually in my depots. So to confirm I eliminated all seed depots to focus all seeds in one depot and deconstructed all seed related buildings. This confirmed the count was wrong by a lot. After experimenting a bit, I finally found out what was wrong. It happens when alternating between food and seed crops and messes up food and seed count. It *looks* like they get counted twice in the main count at the top upon switching. The resource in inventory of the farm that gets ejected seems to be counted AGAIN, while it was already counted upon initial harvest when put in the farm inventory.
Here's an example :
farming seeds -> harvest (seeds counted once) -> farming food (seeds still in farm inventory) -> harvest (food counted once, seeds ejected and counted AGAIN)
This happens for both food and seeds and progressively counts more and more extra seeds or food. It is somewhat mitigated for food since drones seem to gather them faster after a harvest (less in inventory upon switching), while they seem to wait for a certain amount for seeds, which is often not reached before the next switch.
No mods. Vanilla only
But I have all the DLCs ON.
In the picture, we see 58 seeds... but I have no seed farm, no seed depot and no seed buildings of any kind on the map, which is fully scanned. If I click on the seed icon in the top bar, it doesn't jump to any building, drone, or anything that might contain seeds. Yet the count is 58.
We also see the food count is wrong. Those 2 depots are my last food depots, farms were all deconstructed and we can see the count in service buildings. We can see both depot are about 2/3 full, (120 x2), which is far from the 582.1 - 48.4 - 74.4 = 459.3, not around 240.
Can you replicate the issue?
Yes, easily. See above details. Alternate seed and food farming on the same farm for a while : food and seed count becomes progressively de-synchronized with actual resources in depots, with main count at the top being higher.
