UI becomes full of artifacts after opening research screen

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
After the game updated with the most recent update, it displays fine, but when I tried to open the research screen I get all UI elements displaying significant graphical artifacting that does not go away until restart - this affects most everything in game. As a note when it happened and I went to the main menu options to see my version, it didn't show the submenu items to click for credits and such.

Can you replicate the issue?
Load my save game, and click the research tab. It then does what you see below and all other UI items do not render correctly, though for the most part seems like I can click on them.

Also another thing to mention, have you updated your graphics drivers to the latest and what is your hardware?

There are just the two screenshots for now because I figure they showcase what it's doing well enough.

Graphics drivers have been fine for every game, it's a Radeon 7950 and last known working version - nothing's reported out with that and upon review it's saying no updates for my graphics drivers at this time. Hardware otherwise is older model i7 (3770k) and 16gb RAM. Running Win7 x64.
 
Sorry, I misunderstood and thanks for the fast responce. Actually the logs which you will find when copy-pasting this path %AppData%\Surviving Mars\logs in the address bar of a windows explorer window would be really helpful. If you could attach those it may help us find out what the problem is.
 
When a game was working fine before a patch, and has major graphical issues and glitches after a patch, why do people always ask if you updated your graphics drivers? The problem is obviously the patch.

There have been some fixes regarding specific hardware which may have conflicted with the drivers.
 
I have Windows 7 Ultimate and a AMD Radeon Video card R9 200 I have the exact same problem Once I open the research or build window, the graphics tear and smear and display oddly making the game unplayable. My computer plays all other games fine. Latest patch for Surviving Mars.

Sorry, I should've been more clear. The logs which are from when this behavior happened are of interest, that's why I've asked to attach all logs from the folder. Just running the game and closing it doesn't give a lot of info in the log for that brief moment.

OK fixed the problem I upgraded my AMD drivers from 17.1 to 18.2 and that fixed the problem I used the AMD windows 7 64 bit basic driver upgraded package. Works fine now so far! Sorry for the trouble.
