Description
When returning from the asteroid to the regular mars map The lower regions of my map visually flood it doesn't cause any negative effects for buildings but in order to fix it I have to reload the map every time I switch from the asteroid map to the regular map switching from the underground to the regular map does not cause the issue but also doesn't fix the issue.

Windows

(DID NOT ANSWER QUESTION)

What is your game version?
1007783

Do you have Space Race installed?
No

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
I have no mods installed I got the new expansion below and beyond and all was working fine until I first visited an asteroid when I visited my first asteroid I got to the asteroid map fine but when I switch to the normal map it shows all the lower regions and only the lower regions flooded. The only effect this has is stopping me from being able to see anything on the ground. I realized it was flooding because the visual effect only happens on the lowgrounds and it also only happens in places without lakes.

Can you replicate the issue?
Yes. Every time I reload the game it goes away and when it is fixed by reloading if I go to the asteroid map then back it still ends up flooding.

Same happened to me. Was fine until sol 131, but after one landing on asteroid (maybe even 5th in current game) I saw flooding on Mars surface.
Saving and reloading fix problem for a while, but after 2-3 visits on asteroid it comes back. Sometimes my screen additionally flickers like it would show a couple of frames from asteroid or undergroud.

Just made few tests, and for me:
-huge lakes - only default shape floods map
-large lakes - every shape floods map
-lake - every shape besides the one attached on screenshot
-small lake - only default shape floods map
