Well, I mostly use my machine for surfing the net, and it does that job perfectly. Amazing what an old computer can do if you prop it full with RAM...

RAM (within reasonable limits on the clock speed). Clock speed doesn't matter if it waiting for the harddisk to respond, since the harddisk is usually around in the order of 100 000 or 1000 000 times slower than the RAM it usually pays to increase memory size.
I to recomend an uppgrade. It's not werry expencive any more (butt it isen't exactly free ither).
I went to Dell.com and ordered a really kick ass system (refurbished) for chump change. Check it out.

All I have is a 366MHz LAPTOP i.e. cannot be upgraded. My bro's got a kickass system, but he's in uni, so ARGH!
