Ladies and gents, T.H.E. first version is released. (yes, it's bilingual - english and french, don't worry if screenshots are in french)

What is done ?

- Tech trees (except naval and SW)
- Air and ground units
- Some events, ministers and leaders
- Air and ground OoBs
- Map
- Some graphics
- etc

There are many things that still need to be done so please be indulgent.

(i'm still looking for volunteers esp. for translation and historical researches)


Installation :

Install on a clean Arma 1.2


Warning :

There are no DoW events at the moment and no "Occupation of Tchecoslovakia (march '39)" neither, so you'll have to do it yourself.
Same thing for "Mobilization" and "War Economy" events.
They will be included in a next version.
The AI is still vanilla's one. I'll rework in a future version.
The musics are not included yet (to lighten the download).

had 3 years of french in school never managed to remember some words so not able to translate :c
the screen shots looks nice altho i dislike the harbour and airport graphix
the other gfx stuff looks ok ill download it soon and try out.

Have begun my translation. it goes ok. but my french is more rusty than i thougth. can approx translate 95% of the text. but there are some sentences I can´t figure out. I need to restart my french o . any chance you can help me out? an example is "Après avoir été rappelé" I get it to something like "after the summer memories" is this more or less correct or am I way off?

This is not correct.
It would be "After being recalled/called back".

this looks good, but a bit lack of details in the tech tree...

(only 2 types of planes?)... the bf109 and spitfire are having such a race on improving themselves...

also, the most famous Soviet fighter is the La-5/7(flown by most aces) rather than the Yak 9.

i suggest you try to use the "invention" system of Victoria to simulate units of different nation. such as you research a tech and events will pop out to activate a unit.

That's what we did for tanks and mechs but it would be too complicated to do so for each unit.

3 things i have noticed so far:

1 ) In the Economy research page, one of the techs is 'Planified' Economy. I though prehaps this should be 'Planned', never heard of a planified before

2 ) Iran - iirc 'Iran' was stil refered to as Persia up until their revolution in the ... 70's? 80's?

3 ) in a 'Calling Reservists' event for Germany (that fird for me on 15th, August 1938) the Event description didnt make much sense (in english) also there was an obvious spelling mistake of 'procees'. The whole text was something along the lines of "Germany process militaty maneauvers. German command authorises requisition civilian goods and reservists" or something close to that.

Still, i very much so like the idea behind the 'build your own division' concept (finally my Panzer Divisions will resemble historical ones!)
