Taming "used" dragons

So I started playing as Daeryns and dragons were breeding like crazy, now I have more than a dozen of them, my son also got one, I switched to playing him after committing suicide (his stats were better, he somehow managed to get Dragonstone & Daeryns was getting bad age traits & was infertile already) and I had already given him a dragon previously which he tamed, but it died in a battle. I have Drogon and some other dragons apparently in court in my capital - Meereen, but I cannot tame them in any way, I only have an event option to hatch an egg or face a dragon (there is one young dragon who made a lair in Meereen), but I cannot get in touch with Drogon or any other of the better, older dragons. How come? What am I supposed to do?

After Daeryns died, Drogon randomly got into the court of some random noble, so I called him back to Meereen. Are you telling me that dragon is completely lost to me now? I can't even get the dragon who has a lair in Meereen as it keeps saying he can't be found, so I'm playing a dragonless head of Targ dynasty, uhh...

Just checked the dragon event and Drogon shows up as an untamed dragon located in Meereen, so how do I interact with him?

Face the Dragon is the choice you want.

Yes, I already wrote I tried it, but I cannot face Drogon with it... it only shows me the one dragon that is allegedly marked as wild (and every time I tried it - it showed the lair cannot be found). I had two untamed dragons in Meereen (according to the dragon event they were in the province) that did not show up. The wild one did (the wild & untamed categorizations according to the event that shows dragons in the world).

What do I do in that situation?

I have a Dragon Pit in Meeren if that's relevant (I also own Dragstone, but my dragons don't seem to go there).

Go into the file dragon_events.txt and see if you cant tame Drogon by via console events and id. You can always just do a ruler customizer dragon with "event dragon.82" (make sure to give yourself the dragon rider trait before hand). After that, just kill one of your dragons if that will make you feel like you aren't cheating.

Sucks that these things happen, though, as these dragons that transform into courtiers somehow are no longer able to be tamed.

I had the exact same problem with drogon. So after hours of trying i have figured it out. First I had to move him to my court ( move 77990026 ) then do [ event dragon.12 77990026 ] it gives drogon the option to try and tame himself, kill himself, or go free. Choose the go free option. He will now be a wild dragon in your province. Then you should have the decision to face the dragon and it will work. I was trying to work out easier ways where i could target the different dragon events so that you try taming the dragon. Example [ event dragon.14 (event tame succeed) 77990026 {player id} ] but all that does is make drogon face tame and ride himself. And if reverse the ids, I'm taming myself. So if anyone knows how to set a target for an event, would be a great help to me.

Also for drogon, he is shy. You have to remove that trait, otherwise you will never find his lair.
