Hi all !
A new mod is available for DD and Arma, the mod GC-wif (GC = grande campagne - i'm french - wif = world in flames, like the good old strategic game).
The mods goals are to improve challenge, realism and historical feeling. AI, events, musics and sounds, graphics, combat system etc : the whole game was modified to give you a sight of what was the real WW2.
Expect to see real DDays, to never beat SU, to be incircled by the AI etc.
All suggestions/criticizes/propositions are welcomed, so we will be able to improve the mod. It was created by me 4 months ago (i learned to mod AI seeing the Terrann and Lothos works) and i credit all contributors of course, i used some of Compendium, SuperAI, GIP, DMP and SKIF works, thx to them. Btw, i've made a large part of the mod myself. (i would say something ike 70-80%)
Many guys on the french forum played their hardest and most realistics games with this mod since the 0.1 is out. I hope you'll enjoy it too.

Installation :
Copy the files of the root of DD 1,3 a or Arma 1,1 towards a new folder "Mod GC" then download the basic files of the mod that you will dezip in this same folder.
If you desire it, download the specifics graphics and sounds of the mod and dezip the files on the same place.
Check that you have the good version. It is good, you are ready to pass to the dark side of the AI ! Read attentively the event "Rules of the mod GC".
Use the habitual icone of HoI presents in the root of the mod to launch the Mod GC.
It is recommended playing with normal difficulty for a first game. I await with impatience your game returns, suggestions or AARs !
Note: I did not do this mod all alone even if I assumed the major part : to read the credits, is also to thank all those that participated closely or by far to this mod.
