So, the best way of dealing with rebel barons is to behead them and give their lands to your loyal lackyes. *makes a mental note*
Nice reading... and dammit, i need the game. It seems to be the best one from Paradox yet!
Edit: Oh, just a question. Some maps are showing various shades of green and castles in some provinces, coats of arms on anothers. Am i just guessing or would it be: castles are your own provinces, darker green ones are dukes and lighter green counts? Basically, the ones with the castle are your own and the ones with coat of arms your vassals?
Excelent work! I read through this AAR full of joy really, cause many of the fears I had after reading the last AAR can be put aside now. You can call for help in a crusade, there is a very vital arab world (they are at war with each other!), answers to many church related questions I had are included and the most important: A succesfull crusade!!! Now it is gettin even harder to wait for this game...damn ( )!

And just to add what Havard said, the fact that provinces with shields do not show castles does not mean there are no castles there, it just means they may be hidden under shields (of course you can turn both on and off )
Ohh, goodie, goodie! Just wondering: are vassals of my vassals my vassals or are they not? Ie can i call them to war or does my vassal have to do that if he feels like it?
