The Out-of-Synch Bug, ways to avoid it

In the last year, it seems this bug has become more and more of a nuisance for the community, creating huge problems for certain players and their ability to play eu2 online. Does anyone have any advice to avoid this infernal phenomena or any ideas what causes it?

avoidance; no idea.

reason; most likely, short disconnects/ping spikes/lag, but just little enough that the connection is not entirely severed, just some information lost in the process.

I think tabbing for too long can be a cause too...

i remember how i used to fix that was to have the host tab out and tab back in, fixed lag spikes too sometimes. :wacko:
