The power by sword

Will it be possible to my dinasty take the power by the sword in a coup, like many did those days?

Well, we can only play sovereign dynasties- we can't play vassals. So although we could grab other lands and titles by forces, we couldn't start out a duke and then work our way up.

Or so I believe. We'll have to wait and see.

The list shows that there are some Dukes who are playable who do not start out as soverign dynasties. IIRC Greven said something about "power" rather than technically a sovereign was the determining factor.

I figure advertising can't hurt. If Paradox sees it enough then when the time comes they will subconsciencely choose me.
