Mughal Empire
Timurids' decadence:
Who cares what my name is, I'm not important and my name will never be writen in books, But i had the great honor to be born in these far lands, The Sultanate of Delhi. but no honor can be compared to the opportunity of meeting Babür in person, face to face... my first impression of him was no biggie, just another man in this land. Who could anyone imagine that man would change the fate of many ppl? Now i know he's one of the Kahn Clan and he honored his ancestors very well, such a man can only be compared to Gods.
I remember when I was a young boy. inexpert, arrogant boy. my old grandfather noticed I was going to become in another decadent sultan so he decided to force me to travel far away, to see another cultures, to listen to many ppl' problems as one of them, to realize I was a man who must guide and not to subjugate in my own benefit. So I began my trip.
Timurids... my first impression of this world wasn't very good. barbarians! yes, they were barbarians, bad organized, pathetic and their sultan was even worse, they were poor and poor politics were sinking this coutry even more. I didn't understand this was the result of many years of decadence after I was back from Alexandria. During my trip in Timurid lands I used to lie about my true identity, believe me, they're not ppl one can trust easily. Imagine I identify myself as the prince of Delhi! Delhi and Timurids never had good relations, so it wasn't the time for high pretentions, I invented a name and I continued travelling. I occationally made pauses to get food and water, fortunately I had enough gold in my pockets, and when i say enough it means I had enough! I really missed my old life style in my grandfather's palace, look at me now! pretending being poor or a trader.
Nothing more to say about Timurids, by asking i realized Timurids were in decadence, Persia revolted and this country was divided in many pieces. their ppl were desperate, their cattle were thin, their women were whores, their men had no honor, and their kids were disappointed of their sad fate. this stinked and I sweared I'd never come back to this country again.
And the Travel Continued...:
I reached Persia, Persia... I thought I was living in Alexander the Great's era. Once again Persia exists. This was a true Empire! their citadels, their educated ppl, their faith and hapiness. Who would imagine some years later Ottoman Empire would bring hell to these lovely quiet lands.
Once i reached to the old kingdom of Amurabi I was amazed of their wealth and commerce, I realized tradding was ecential for a country, I was going to put this on practise some years later. Bagdad, the old capitol, it's now another great city of new brand Persia. I stayed in this city 10 days and 10 nights, I learned a lot about Europe and their wealth. I bought maps and stuff, thx Allah I was starting to have some interest in politics, economics and geography, time will show I was right.
Alexandria! its Librar¡es, I could breath knowledge everywhere I went, this wasn't another city, it was the greater city I've ever known. I'd have stayed longer in this country, the country of Mameluks, but news of a declaration of war from Ottoman Empire made me go back on my steps. It was time to return to India.
A New Empire in the East:
travelling back I made some money tradding, mameluks' meat was very appreciated in Persia, I brought a lot of water with me as well, very appreciated by thirsty travellers.
Big was my surprise when i came to Timurid Empire, it was ... different. by Asking i knew a new Sultan named Babür was now ruling this hurt country. in a year this new monarch made reformations, he even knew how to trade! how? their ppl had faith once again.
Portugal was tradding around! so were Timurids! new "fire" weapons in the battle field! new armies and wealth??? i was amazed, and frightened. I had to hurry up. My grandfather had to know about this now! Allah forgot us?
