What families had former kingdoms in their history? I just had an awesome game as Royce where I recreated the former kingdom of runestone. I know of house mudd but are their any other former royal lines out there in westeros?

North - Bolton (Red Kings), Umbers, First Flints, Glovers, Dustins, Lockes, Fishers, Ryswells (possibly).
Westerlands - Reynes, Crakehalls, Westerlings, Banefort, Farman, Marbrand (I think).
Reach - basically every single High Lord is a direct descendent of one king or another, but the Redwynes, House Hightower, House Tarly (I think - it was one of the more powerful Houses in that region).
Iron Islands - every single House except the Codds seemingly wore the Driftwood Crown at one point or another.
Stormlands - probably Estermont and Tarth.
Crownlands - Bar Emmon and Massey, probably Darklyn and Rosby.
Riverlands -Blackwood, Bracken, Darry (possibly) Mooton (possibly), Piper, Vance
Dorne - again, practically everyone, but especially Yronwood and Dayne
Vale of Arryn - Tollet, Upcliff, Corbray, Waynwood, Sunderland

Basically, if it is counted as one of the High Lords, it usually held a kingly title at one point or another. Houses don't tend to die in Westeros. I've probably missed at least a few. Not all are listed in their histories as having these titles in game mind.

Wait do all those famlies have their own creatable titular kingdoms or they have just ruled something in westros in the Lore

Apologises, I thought you were referring to Westerosi history. I'm not sure - I believe that every High Lordship can form a titular kingdom. Regardless, it should be possible to recreate most of the old Houses former kingdoms.

I'm with the post from TmSaxon, pretty much every high lordship was a kingdom in Westrosi Lore. It would be amazing to see a decision if you got your freedom to make the old kingdom again (If applicable), but I'm not sure that those such decisions are in the game so far. From what I know, the only decision that creates an old kingdom are the ones when a Lord Paramountship gains Independence.
