I bought Toxoids but neither the portraits nor the origins appear as options when I try to set up a new empire. The DLC shows as installed and enabled in my game launcher. Does anyone know what could make it appear? I already tried uninstalling and reinstalling it.

If it is in our launcher it really has to be in the game too. Toxoids requires at least patch 3.5, are you on that or something later? Current is 3.8.4
When you go into New Game or MP from the main game menu, DLCs are listed on the right of the screen. Is Toxoids there and ticked?

It worked! I don't know why my game wasn't up to date, since I had Steam set to auto-update. It's all good now, thanks for the help!
If you had opted into a beta of an older version, that tells Steam you don't want to update.
