This is an ongoing AAR for a game started by Tris and Razor (me), two High Command membrers. The game idea is an Italy-Germany combo, with the original plan to conquer and liberate Scandinavia (my obsession sorry :p ), but eventually it turned out to be an all out war that was---truly---a "World War". I'll give my German overview as the sessions continue, and Tris will (if necessary) add in his own Italian Overview.

Currently, at the time of this threads launch, the game is in early 1941 around late Febuary, so in order to make up for the time I will sum up the past years as best as I can.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
German Overview:

1936--On the Road to War.....Again
By command of the Furher, the Rhineland has been re-occupied, and many new divisions have been placed into works to augment the brave and hungry German Army. Several fast---although weak---cavalry divisions have been ordered to quickly reinforce the borders of the Fatherland, and research into infantry, aircraft, and industrial strength has been started so that the great Aryan nation may be prepared for the day when it will, again, be forced to reclaim its title as a mighty German Empire.

Special notes: Italy prepares an invasion of Spain, Luxembourg is conquered by Germany, and 16 German Cavalry are started in production. Late in the year, 2 paralel lines of 15 runs each of heavy panzers are started in production, along with the same number and amount of Motorized infantry (Germany does this).

1937--A Revived Fatherland
As production continues, Germany prepares for the ultimate encounter with the Allies. Also, several alliances are signed: Poland, Hungary, and Argentina join the Axis, adding to our already overwhelming superiority. The Furher orders massive conscriptions (OOC: I couldn't think of a better word; no I did not build a crapload of militia.....yet :p ) and many brave German men meet the call to arms with pride and patriotism. German industry is near its peak, getting stronger every day just as the Army grows stronger every day.

Special Notes: Italy declares war on Nationlist Spain; Valencia is invaded by sea, and the powerful Italian Mountain divisions take their toll on the foolish Spaniards. German strength continues to increase, and several U-boats and transports are produced as well.

1938--Forward, With Eyes Set
In March, Austria joins the greater German Reich, and in September the Sudetenland is "returned" to Germany. The foolish allies did nothing to contend with us, and now we have the Czechs in the palm of our hand.

*Camapign Finland: Finland was taken after it refused to turn over the proper territory and join the Axis; these lands will prove invaluable future campaigns in Scandinavia.

Special Commendations: The awe inspiring 'Razor North Korps' performed admirably in the name of the Fatherland, and although a small force (maybe 9 divisions), they took Finland with hardly any resistance from the 20 or so Finish divisions in Finland. Another victory for the Reich!

Special notes: the borders with France, Belgium, and Netherlands have been reinforced to there near war levels, no doubt placing all or Germanys enemies in great fear. Italian conquest of Spain is firm, and now including the Republicans. Also, Italy begins its war with cowardly Portugal; again no resistance is offered by the allies.

1939--A New Era for the Thousand Year Reich!
With the admission of Siam, Romania, Japan, Yugoslavia, and Bulgaria early on--and with the annexation of what remains of Czechoslovakia--the Axis powers are now firmly in place to invade europe---no, the WORLD!

Divisions from all nations are placed on the front lines in Africa, Finland, Southeast Asia, and of course Europe in Preparation for war.

**DECLASSIFIED: GERMAN HIGH COMMAND WAR PLANS**
Troops are placed in former Portugese provinces (now German) all over Africa for the invasion of key territories belonging to the Allies. In North Africa, Yugoslavian and Bulgarian troops are placed to aid in the assault on Alexandria and Algeria. In the middle east, nearly all the German and Italian naval vessels combine in preparation for the invasion of Israel and the Suez by German Motorized and Panzer units. In Indochina, a small german transport fleet arrives to prepare to take French Indochina by storm, incorporating Thai divisions into the strategy. Italian movements also are seen in northern Spain and northern Italy on the French borders as well as sorrounding Gibraltar, and Hungarian divisions are placed in northern Finland for the Scandinavian Campaign. Unfortunately, due to increasing political tension with the Soviet Union, many assisting German divisions are forced to be called back in order to reinforce Finish borders. Fortunately however, the brave Hungarians and few assisting German motorized/panzer units should be more than enough for the conquest of Sweeden and Norway. Also, Argentinia Divisions are placed in Lubeck to formulate the Axis invasion of Copenhagen; 10 Argentinian divisions are slated to attack Copenhagen, while 3 German infantry divisions charge up the rest of the Jutland Peninsula.
On the border with France, brave Germans sit and wait with faith that they will soon partake of their promised war prize: French woman.

Special Notes: Although it would appear that Axis forces are well in place for conquest, the war is delayed as additional alterations are made to the War Plans. ^See Above^
