My personal opinion on this is that I don't think there should be any special name. I always thought that it was silly in CIV for a country to be ruled for thousands of years by the same person. In EU, I consider myself as playing a country, not an individual. But feel free to disagreeOriginally posted by Digger
I actually agree with the "detachment" feeling. From my first end game I started clicking everywhere to see how I could change my game name!
Not a major issue - EU is a great desgin but every game's a role play is it not? So a fair question imo.

Personally I think it's dishonest to try to hide behind some made up name that doesn't reflect your true identity.

Ah, but you haven't played my new mod to EU, Surreal EU. The player represents a vampire, thusly living for centuries, who has progressively "infected" the leaders of a country.
Normal victory conditions do not apply. The best measure of success is via the diplomatic relations screen. If your country shows the dark, dark red (-200) toward itself, then you are doing well...
