Ubuntu 22.04: Launcher window too large, cannot start game

Hi, I am running the game on Ubuntu 22.04 on a Dell XPS 13+ with a 4k screen. I use fractional scaling to 300%. Until yesterday I was able to launch the game properly but as of today the launcher window does not seem to scale properly (again): I simply see the left part of the launcher menu without the ability to scroll to the right and start the game. Please also see the attached screenshot. I can drag the whole window but still cannot reach the launch game button.
This is perplexing as the launcher worked correctly until yesterday.

Did your launcher maybe update to version 2023.2 yesterday? That version came out a few days ago. You could look in ~/.paradoxlauncher to see when the version was installed and you can try to delete ~/.paradoxlauncher/launcher-v2.2023.2 to (temporarily) get the previous version. Does that version launch properly for you?

Yes - that's it. Thanks so much. Updated this morning to v2.2023.2. When I revert to the old launcher the size of the windows is correctly scaled again. So the new launcher introduces the bug.

Edit: The problem with the old launcher is/was that it cannot handle a dock that is supposed to be auto-hiding but I can work around that by making the dock permanent.

You could post in the general paradox forum about this problem, so that the launcher developers see it. Maybe they can fix it in the next version.
