Unable to load Game

I'm running HOI2 DDA latest patch.
Im using VIsta Home Premium
Its a Commodore specially built computer
with 2046MB RAM
375GB free on Hard Drive
Its a NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT w/ driver 7.15.0011.6902
Speakers (SB AUdigy) w/ driver 5.12.0001.2004
Its DIrectx 10

Of the things listed in the sticky, these are what i can work out (useless with the technical side of computers)

My problem is that since I uninstalled Mod 34 I am unable to load the game. I just get a critical memory which says excel file not found. And any of the options fail to help. Please will someone tell me what i need to do.

If you installed mod34 over the vanilla game (the usual way) uninstalling it does not restore the vanilla files; you'll need to reinstall. If a mod doesn't support the 'mod-dir' feature you need to make multiple installs to keep the vanilla game available.
