Unable to verify ownership of DLC (Steam)

Hi,

I've got an issue i can't seem to resolve and I'm also unable to find much information online.

I'm playing Stellaris through steam and I noticed that the DLC Overlord wont' show in game for me. In the steam store the DLC is shown as owned yet when I launch te game the DLC is not listed on the right side of the screen nor can I choose any game options that are made available with the DLC.

After many attempts I decided to install the Paradox launcher which showmed this error message as stated in the topic title.

Unable to verify ownership of DLC for both Overlord as arachnide skin pack iirc.

I've just deleted everyting in the steam folders on my pc and will reboot and hope a clean install wil help, I'd still very much would welcome any help to get this issue resolved if anyone knows how.

issue resolved after deleting every and all files which even had a part of the name paradox in it.. restart and reinstall...

Please close just really glad it's resolved

Also check if you have manually set the game version in steam.

I later realized i had chosen a previous game version so st horizons was compatible
