Uninstall problem

I was messing around with editing the game a bit, and when I tried to launch the game it kept giving an error message. I tried repair and uninstall, but the repairs don't do anything and uninstall keeps giving an error message saying "Catastrophic Error!" and it wouldn't uninstall. I tried uninstalling it manually (but now I see i did it the wrong way).... please help I am not sure what to do...


I now i need to re-install it, but I can't if I can't even uninstall the game first!

I read it... but I thought maybe something else was going on.... :confused:

and during my quest to try to right the game (in which I inproperly deleted a bunch of stuff) I deleted some notepad files which I hadn't seen before and assumed were from HOI2.

But anyway, in regards to the sticky, i am confused a bit with the regedit stuff, and that seems the only way I can uninstall. I ran regedit and went to the Paradox folder and saw a bunch of different things and I'm not sure the ones the sticky wants me to delete....
