Upon cloning a building, the information bar doesn't disappear

I cloned a cell block (Top cell block as shown in the image) And I pasted it just below it with the Quick Build Menu. After doing so, the new cloned block's information doesn't disappear and the whole building looks as If it's selected. In the image, you can see that the new block is a bit grayed out and has some orange lines around it and at the top left corner there's a $0. This doesn't disappear, it stays throughout the game. Thank god this is the tutorial, otherwise I'd be pretty mad, because it's things like these that'd make me want to build a new prison.

Actually, I think this whole tutorial is just bugged out. I've placed over 20 phone booths in all 2 of my Yards and I still can't complete: Add telephones to all Yards. I can place new Visitor Booths over existing ones, without dismantling them, the workers just place them over it. The whole tutorial section is just a mess. Am I doing something wrong or what?
