Using GG 1.04 patch on steam version?

Can I patch my steam CKII with the GG patch? I have to work in a few hours and like to try it out before that.

Yeah, Steam just loads the .exe from the Steam directory. As far as I know it's basically the same version, so it should work.

You should validate your game files and let Steam install its version of the patch when its out though.
