So I recently colonized and made the Empire of Old Valyria. Pretty over powered in some senses due to having both the Valyrian Castle and the largest castle upgraded immediately. One thing I did notice is a lack of unique names for the buildings in each province, ie. Valyria Castle, Valyria Temple. Do the mods for the Colonize Valyria mod have an plan or idea on what names these buildings have? Let's face it, if you were stuck with Storm End Castle or Winterfel Castle, the experience playing as a Stark/Bolton or a Baratheon/Durredan character would be pretty boring or dull.

But I do guess that since this place is a chaotic wasteland in the canon, we don't really get an insight in the architecture and names of the places in the Valyrian continent. I'm guessing that if George RR Marten did give us some clues on names in Valyria, it'll most likely follow Dragonstone and be ultra-related to dragons in some way. But yeah, any suggestion on what cool/unique names I can give to these now non-desolate places would be a great help.

We should be getting a new, improved world book that is an in depth and detailed history of the Targaryens from before the Doom up to the present, when Mr Martin finally finishes his main series (I'm fairly certain that it will happen at some point). I believe that it will be called Fire and Blood. That would likely have stuff in it that you could use.
Sorry, not very helpful in the present, but just a thought that occurred to me.

These places are ruins and their names are lost in the past. As the new conqueror it is up to you to name these places. Name them after your rulers and their family, the commanders who conquered them, 'new [other part of your empire]', geographical features are always good and some made up and dragon related names. That'd be the most fun and how a real restorer of Valyria (not real real) would have named the places. Have fun :)
