Please explain the issue you experienced in the most condensed way possible
I played the game normally as Germany and by 1888 I noticed my disk was being used up a lot. Checked the error.log and it was 18GB.

Please explain how to reproduce the issue
Play until mid/late game I guess.

Is there anything else you think could help us identify/replicate the issue?

Im having the same issue, even the log-entries are similar.

To reproduce the bug you need to colonize. If another country colonizes the same state (both own parts of the state) error.log-entries are being created at a rapid pace.

I tried to reproduce the bug with the USA since you are colonizing native lands at the beginning of the game but since there is no (non-native) country which is owning parts of the states no error.log-entries are created while playing.

I attached my error.log which is relatively small. To produce the error.log i deleted the old log which was several GB in size and let the savegame run for a couple of days.
