Please explain the issue you experienced in the most condensed way possible
When launching the game the main menu with (New Game, Settings, Quit etc) never is seen on the screen. The scroll down sound is there but no menu. Just the picture of the queen and music.

Please explain how to reproduce the issue
Launch the game om steam without proton layer.

Is there anything else you think could help us identify/replicate the issue?
OS Linux Mint 21.0
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5700G with Radeon G
GPU: AMD ATI 08:00.0 Cezanne

Tried to make a screenshot but it only displays my desktop, so maybe this has to do something with the display server X11?

Havn't tried on a distro thats uses Wayland instead of X11. Mint uses X11.

They games plays with steams Proton layer but crashes after a while, seams to be regular bugs that the windows version also suffers from with CTD, when reading this forum.

Could you please confirm if the issue still occurs on current (1.0.6) game version?
Several issues with the game not initializing properly on some configurations were resolved in the recent patch and one machine that experienced your issue was able to load the game after updating/reinstalling.

To help identifying the issue, please attach the zipped contents of your "home/local/share/Paradox Interactive/Victoria 3/logs" as well as the two "pdx_settings" files from "home/local/share/Paradox Interactive/Victoria 3".
