Last year I ran a number of hands off tests working out average VP scores. Has anyone run any multiple tests to work out average AI VP scores? I ran a lot of tests for EU1 but haven’t got around to running any tests for EU2. I originally ran 1492-1556 about 14 times hands off to get an average score for each AI country in order to compare it to a MP game we were playing. If anyone has run such a test for EU2 then I’d be interested to hear from them. Alternatively if anyone does run any hands off tests then I’d be grateful if you could forward me the score results of whatever year you managed to get to. If I can collate enough data then I might be able to work out a ‘rough’ score multiplier for the different countries along the lines of Pax Britannica and the original board game- which came with a lovely points multiplier thanks to Mr Thibaut but sadly lacking in the computer version. Thank you Mowers.

I have realized that by using the ‘ney’ cheat command one can run hands off games without the timer constantly stopping. This has enormous potential in terms of running hands off games to collect data on average AI scores that might give us an overall points multiplier as a ‘rough guide’ to the actual achievements of players. It means that you can set up a game before you out to work in the morning or before you go to sleep and let the game run then at the end collect the scores of the main leading player countries.

If anyone wanted to run similar tests I would be pleased to share my data with them and to jointly present the results on the forum for all to see and to gauge their performance by. If you were interested please drop me a line on my ICQ. Ben
