Well, I don't know how many 1.02 players you'll find, though. Not many, that's for sure.
I am not familiar with the different versions of EU2(UK, NA, Polish, etc). Which version are you using...and...can you download update 1.04 off of this site?
If you are able to interact with NA version 1.04 I am sure that one of the MP games would welcome you. If you cannot link up timewise with the regular MP guys, a PBEM game would definately add you on. It is difficult to get everyone online at the same time for those of us in different timezones with things like jobs, wives, girlfriends, wives and girlfriends (now wait a minute that's not right)...anyway...PBEM is not the same as simutaneous multiplayer but is definately an interesting deviation from facing the AI continuously.

I have the polish version, which is currently 1.02 only.
Is it possible to "interact" 1.02 with 1.04 in mp-games? If not, I wouldn't be able to play pbem-games as well as I probably could not open 1.04 savefiles

Hmmm, I have 2 possibilities to get 1.04: buy the dutch ubisoft version, which is twice as expensive as the polish I currently own, or download an illegal (american) version and crack for the 1.04 NA=patch. Not really the kinds of solutions I would like to try.

A "no-cd" crack would be nice because it would allow me to play the game on my LAN without having to keep swaping the copied disk for the original. Don't worry I wasn't planning on using it for some bad thing.
