Anyone who can test some executables for me during workhours, and who got the swedish release of the game.

I need someone external with a non-beta cd to test multiplayer problems with.

Skriv ett email till mig på johan@paradoxplaza.com ASAP ;)

I still have not recieved a single email from anyone with a swedish cd.

I guess the interest in MP is not that big afterall.

Oh come on.. There's got to be SOME Swedish player out there who can help Johan!

Grumble, grumble.. What, do the Swedes not play multiplayer or something?!? Sheesh.

Waffen

I got two guys now who tested.. And it worked fine for them...

However, nothing has been changed from the 1.03MP which also worked fine for me.

So i definitely need some people who HAD problems with the 1.03MP.

Anyone want to test this with me right now? I tried patching from 1.00 to the 1.03 patch on Strategy First (I assume this is 1.03 MP, as there is no 1.03-MP listed).

I'll (shame, shame) burn a copy of the CD and test it with one of my other machines otherwise..

Waffen

The regular 1.03 crashes in MP, I've confirmed that and reproduced it and fixed in the 1.03MP.. (Check what it says at top of screen.)

This is actually a completely different problem. I'm suprised it's not fixed with the 1.03MP patch, but is easy enough to work around (pretty easy to fix to, when/if Johan gets the chance).

It's fixed in 1.04 (which should come sometime in March I guess.)

The problem was the programmer who originally wrote the file-checking routine for compression thought that comparing file-creation was enough. And that definitely does not work if someone reuses the same filename. (As autosave is.) I've changed that to work on file-modification date now.

Anyway, we've had a few swedish people testing the latest version and most things have been fixed, including the crashes when countries get annexed, and stability hits when clicking several times.
