However, nothing has been changed from the 1.03MP which also worked fine for me.

So i definitely need some people who HAD problems with the 1.03MP.
I have had problems, when I was the host in vnet one of my friends tried tojoin me (he also have th 1.03mp version) the loading screen restarted when it was finished and it did that ten times, then we cancelledit.:(

The same for me, but the time is different, 8-16. If you want i will be glad to help you.

I dont seem to understand??
Why is it that the programmers seem to be ignorant about the fact V-net and 1.03MP have a 100% failure rate in NA. It seems that they still think it is us? Why can't the NA players not try and help with a fix? My God if a sweedish copy is necessary I would be glad to purchase one to assist!!! I yes I would be glad to be available during Seedish business hours............

I really want this to work on my damn Lan!!! or even V-net!!

Thanks

This is actually a completely different problem. I'm suprised it's not fixed with the 1.03MP patch, but is easy enough to work around (pretty easy to fix to, when/if Johan gets the chance).

Basically, you need to delete the .bhz (can't rember exactly) file associated with the save game you're loading. For example, if you're loading an autosave, you'll see 3 files in your Scenarios/Saved Games directory:

autosave.eug
autosave.cfg.eug
autosave.bhz

(NOTE: I'm not at my home computer, so I'm not exactly sure on these extensions)

Just delete the .bhz file and try to start the game again. It should work fine.

It's fixed in 1.04 (which should come sometime in March I guess.)

The problem was the programmer who originally wrote the file-checking routine for compression thought that comparing file-creation was enough. And that definitely does not work if someone reuses the same filename. (As autosave is.) I've changed that to work on file-modification date now.

Anyway, we've had a few swedish people testing the latest version and most things have been fixed, including the crashes when countries get annexed, and stability hits when clicking several times.

Huzzah, excellent! A patch for the MP folks. Any update on the Valkyrienet rewrite, while we're on the topic?

I guess not :(

Thanks much Johan! I'm looking forward to it!
