I wanted to let everyone know that we have just updated our Code of Conduct for the forums.
There are no big changes, we just needed to bring them in line with legal requirements, and we took the opportunity to fine tune the tone and reduce the verbiage.
For simplicity all rules now fall into 4 main categories:
o English Only
○ Keep it Legal
○ Be Respectful
○ Respect Etiquette
We want to focus on interactive communication between our members and with our Dev teams, and acknowledge that sometimes frank discussion can be harsh, so we will allow a little more wiggle room and probably issue more warnings than actual infractions. This does not imply that you can be insulting, racist or any other "ist" it does not mean you should not be understanding that others have a viewpoint that might differ from yours, I think 99% of people understand when they are crossing the line from "vigorous" championing of your position to pure hate of or derogatory comments directed at the person being debated.
Thank-you all for participating in the community and making it such a great place for discussion of the games we are all so passionate about.
I encourage everyone to review the new Code of Conduct carefully.
A link can always be found at the bottom right of every page.
