On a side note, Crown of Greed looks like a near copy-pasta of Majesty, has a demo out which is fun, and is set for release Q1 2026. The only problem is that the developer seems to have a history of not following through on games, so we'll see.

At the moment we have 3 games in production inspired by Majesty.
Crown of Greed - As you wrote, they look promising, but we'll see what comes out of it.
Lessaria: Fantasy Kingdom Sim - The game is currently undergoing major changes in mechanics after playtests. The creators have abandoned other resources than gold, simplifying the economy significantly and bringing it closer to that of M.
Heroes of Orn: Darkness - The most Indi of the three. Made by a single developer. Not as pretty and polished as the other two but developing in an interesting direction.
As a bonus I can mention "The Leviathan's fantasy" which supposedly also has similar mechanics. Also a very stormy creation history including delist from stem. I haven't tested it myself.

I think Crown of Greed is probably the closest we're going to ever get to a Majesty 3. It's Majesty's mechanics with a more somber tone.
Dear Ardanians, only we are capable of making Majesty 3 and Ardania great. I advise you to play our version of Majesty 2 (1.5.5), also known as Project "Rebirth". It is a true example of what ideological and passionate people are capable of. All the games that are supposedly being developed are money-driven projects. Lessaria is complete crap, I played it, it has no chance of a proper future. No one cares about Ardania except us, and when we buy the rights to Ardania from Paradox, I will make all the games about Ardania (there are 6 of them) free for everyone. Glory to Ardania, hurray!
