He was a recommended runup target. Who obviously was not scanned, otherwise they would have outed him. And could not be scanned with the priest dead. I would not have given him up so easily. If you think a situation like that leads to inevitable death, simply look at what I did last game and you can see it is not, especially with a JL spokesman going AWOL.

Perhaps the wolves are cowards who simply caved and gave him up. Unless HDK is a wolf too I would have railroaded HDK if in their position, especially with the vote so close. Its not like HDK wasn't recommended too.

I guess that means we need to know what HDK is. So the lynch on him makes sense.

True, and without TNT to say anything else on the matter.

Vote The_HDK

I would've tried to railroad Slinky. People usually abhor early bandwagons; that would've given an argument to select the_hdk over Slinky. Moreover, you'd get to put a meaningful early vote on a fellow baddie! Worked well for me in Kriszo's last game (not so well for my packmate Raczynski, but hey...), so it's a valid strategy.

wow, that is one helluva bandwagon on hdk.

unvote Lurken

vote Tornadoli v2.0

I didn't like his vote-tieing capability. Also, Lurken seems a poor choice for a Frenchie.

With 9 players voting hdk, That will clear a bunch of people if he is a baddie. And one less sub.

still need a sub for hdk? I think I know his fate...

vote hdk

The explosive told me to.

leaving now.

So you claim that baddies would vote Slinky. That claim would not have anything to do with the fact that you yourself did not vote Slinky, would it?

That's wishful thinking. If the_hdk is a wolf, it will not clear anyone. He was recommended by the JL and even those agitating for his death most are not cleared, maybe slightly less likely from whatever pack the_hdk might be in but nothing else.

I kind of agree with him, but I suppose I'm a bit biased as well on that issue :D However, I'm not saying we should rank the Slinky voters as more likely Frenchmen than everyone else, all I'm saying is that we shouldn't consider them even slightly cleared from that pack.

Day 7
Following up on the leads from the day before that had given Police Squad the chance to remove one thug from the streets, and backed up with data from the lab, they went one further and hauled in someone placed at the scene of some of the murders. Strangely however, he claimed to work for a mob boss that hadn't previously shown up in our investigations.

Night 8
That night, one of the leading lights of Police Squad was extingushed. Captain Ed Hacken, with over 30 years of continual service on the force, was found gunned down in an alley near his apartment. He will be missed, and his death will greatly impede investigations into the recent crimes.

the_hdk the Wolf of the Dutch Gunderson pack was lynched
Adamus the Seer was hunted

Well, we have three packs. HDK was a wolf, but he was not a Frenchy. But since it was a runaway bandwagon, the votes are worthless.

Bleh.

Edit: TNT leaving destroyed this game. I hope someone got the scanlist.

Finally! dead seer=awesome! :D

Bugger, there went our Seer, and that's a confirmation of the third pack.

Third pack changes everything...

need to look at hunt nights again. And it might explain a bit more of Randakar's final post.

The hunt nights don't seem to be in any order. I wonder if Walrus is choosing hunt nights randomly.

Night 1 was the Montague night.
Night 5 was non-Frenchies
Night 7 was non-Montague

They cannot do ABCABCABC since night 7 had Paendrag hunted. hmmm....

3 packs! OK, I never would have thought that possible with the amount of dead goodies so far. If the packs are symmetrical that would mean at least 3 wolves + 1 cultist a pack = 12 baddies but with the baddie:goodie ratio rule of thumb for a 3 pack game we should have 50% baddies so more likely 3*(3+2) + maybe 1 sorcerer = 15-16 badddies. 6 baddies are dead so 9-10 baddies left alive + potentially turned. And there are only 16 players alive...

2 cursed have turned up dead so I'm starting to think the no-kills are actually more likely to be blessed or a second GA or how else were the goodies supposed to have any chance at this? But why haven't anyone come forward with that except WD if that was the case?

And the hunt pattern must be some sort of randomized thing because normal ABCABC doesn't fit with montague hunt night 1 and Paendrag the Montague getting hunted night 7.

6-7 goodies (best case scenario) against 9-10 baddies. I guess we can still hope the wolves will eat eachother to even the playing field...

Also I wonder how it is possible the seer didn't find more than 1 wolf for all these nights with that amount of wolves around? (or 2 if the_hdk was scanned but that would have to mean there is a 2nd priest around or why else would TNT have a race between Slinky and hdk)

A doctor is still possible. Would explain some of the people who skipped voting certain days, too.

the update would mention that the player couldn't vote for that day. So, doctor hasn't happened yet.
