Not really an AAR, but I'm looking for some advice, and opinions on my endeavours as Italy.

As you can see, Ethiopia, Albania, Greece, Yugoslavia, Bulgaria and Haiti have all fallen to me (In said order), and Saudi Arabia is a loyal puppet (Read: Oil Rig).

My plans as of current, are to kill my dissent, build up enough forces to have a sizable garrison in Libya and Ethiopia...and maybe go after Portugal before the war starts, to get it's miniscule resources, and ports.

Then...once the war DOES break out, and the Allies are safely being kept busy by my neighbour Germany, I'll seek to stomp over Turkey, and those Rubber-hording Central America countries (Starting with Costa Rica, who refused me military access - ingrates!). Once I think France is well-subdued, I will probably hop in, swipe Syria and Lebanon, maybe some of Britain's puppets, and if things are going poorly, I can beg the Allies for Peace, to avoid being trampled.

Thoughts, anyone?

Turkey and Greece (and any Baltic country NOT is AXIS) should be your first target.

France is too much of a slog for low reward. Let Germany take as much as it can before you storm in and seize the leftovers.

Spain can be an easy target which mean you get to control Atlantic traffic into the MED.

Iraq and Kuwait should be taken asap.

Dont know about Sth and Cen. America just yet, but seem to be under the US' umbrella. Watch out, you dont want to get them involved in a war just yet!

You might want to skim my Italian AAR!

Cheers

You could also go after brazil of arg before the war starts. If you take turkey you might be able to take a sizable portion of russian when barbaroosa starts

I think a few of the VP for port might be a stretch for the range of your navy, but i could be wrong

Best of luck!

You play CORE, right?

Whch Spain is that? Well, anyway, be ready to take Gibraltar once the war starts. And, before the war, go after Brazil for the rubber. I think you'd better have gone after Brazil as your first target in '36, since they start with, IIRC, two infantry, two militia and one cavalry. Very easy to defeat.

Yes, reinforce Lybia to storm into Egypt to get control over the channel of Suez. Naval landings could also be useful, since in my experience those beaches are usualy weakly defended.

With Gibraltar and Suez the mediterranean will then be called Lago Italiano!
