Hey so i watch a few different channels on youtube about CK2 and have wondered how come no one has ever had a thread where people post their custom characters/houses and the story behind them. This might give the inspiration for similiar characters or possible may inspire people to add these characters to their world. so post them if you got them gents!

I have a couple of stories. One Started as king of the iron islands in I believe the rogue prince start. I tied in, with house customizer, saying I was the bastard son of the previous Hoare dynasty. I decided to plot kidnap emperor vicerys, since I had a personal grudge against agaisnt all targaryans for killing off my dynasty. I held him and a tortured him for a while. As part of my role playing i was doing, I told him I would free him for one of his dragon eggs. At first he resisted so i tortured some more. When he finally relented, I used console commands and added dragon egg to my traits and removed it from his. I then released him, as promised, but only after castrating him. He only reigned for about 3 more years before he abdicated to his niece. During those years I had to dodge plots from his angry wife, who my guess wasn't happy I chopped off his most valuable asset. Needless to say, I made sure some unfortunate accident befell her... I also, through the event chain, got my hands on a new family sword and had it reforged as Skinpeeler. As soon as the new Queen was coronated, I recieved a letter from the high septon, stating that the queen was planning on imprisoning me and taking my lands. I was off on a reaving still, but i declared war. It took me a while to return home. My armies were fighting a defensive war, but were holding thier own as small armies from the mainland landed on our iron shores. By time I arrived at home from my reaving, the main army of the queen, led by at least 3 dragon riders, had just arrived. Having previously tried taming my dragon and failing, it had made its home on my island somewhere. It had been a while since I tried to face it, so i did in one last ditch effort. I succeeded. This though is another little part i cheated. I knew my new 4 year old dragon couldn't win against all these old and battle tested dragons. So i cheated a little and made him about the same martial stats as the middle level dragon on the enemy side. I made a little back story that through the sheer cruelty and everything I did as a tyrant of the iron isles had made my dragon extremely wroth and cruel. So now comes the main battle, my 25000 iron born men defending thier homeland, some reinforcements from else where in westeros, versus the about 35000 from the Iron Throne. The rogue prince, who had ended up conquering a large chunk out of essos, forming his own empire, had joined the war and was one of the commanders of this army. The first battle I got into, I fought against 2 dragons at once. The duels lasted forever, with so many close calls. My dragon was almost torn to shreds many time as both of the other dragon just kept coming at me. Luckily though I was able to one time counterattack perfectly and killed the other dragon and its rider. I and my dragon were pretty wounded but there was still another coming at us. The duel was the same. I barely made it out but i killed the other dragon, but mine was maimed in the process and couldn't fly. I was scared he might not ever fly again. But we were at war for survival and I had no time to focus on the negative. We were able to force the enemy to retreat, so we gave chase. In this battle though my maimed dragon was forced to fight against the dragon of the rogue prince. This was the longest duel ever. It kept going back and forth, back and forth. I was so scared my dragon and i were going to die. I was sure of it. Yet by some miracle that the drowned god blessed us with, we were victorious. Having slain the rogue prince, the queen inherited his empire as well, so I was worried. But the war was nearly over and i was able to win. After the victory, the queen was forced to abdicate. I took her as a prisoner, I then forced her to marry me. Not all iron born in that war were loyal, so i had them and all their family rounded up. I executed the lords, sold his daughters and wife into slavery, and castrated the sons. The prisoners of war from around westeros were given to the drowned god. And thats where i stopped playing that game.

My next story, is my playthrough I'm doing now. This one is more serious and is more for the long term, so I'm not cheating at all other then the ruler designer. I made the duke of the Prince's Pass in Dorne a really formidable fighter that is an unpredictable commander with expert skills in fighting in mountains, deserts, and the rough places of the world. I had to balance it out with a good bit of negative traits, making my person a very cruel and menacing tyrant. My goal has to been to be the first line of of defense for my homeland. For those who don't know, the mountains in dorne are probably the most defensive place on the whole map. You have only 3 routes through the mountains that are nice chokeholds becuase they are blocked by high ridges. Not only that but they have a relatively low supply rate. And on top of the natural mountain defensive bonus, all mountains in dorne also have the river trait, even though there aren't rivers. It really adds that extra defensive bonus. I have started in the feast of crows bookmark. My character cares not for politics, but has an undying loyalty to dorne. I chose not to get married at first because I was waiting for a suitable bride, like Daenerys Stormborn so that my children will hopefully get some dragons. But then came a message saying Sansa Stark has been revealed. I felt bad for the poor girl and did not want her to marry those jerks in the north, so I married her out of pity. We shortly fell in love though. My short reign so far has been nothing but wars. I have been succesfully fighting off invading army after invading army with a relatively small force against massive force. I have fought and won many duels in battle. A couple I was reluctant about, like Lady Briene of Tarth, who was always one of my favorite characters. I ran my sword straight through her. I also killed a Mormont, a lord in the riverlands, a Tyrell, and the head of the kingsguard at that time. I was knighted by the Lord Paramount of the Stormlands in the first war for the Iron Throne, where Dorne was allied to the Throne. I have been for a while now trying to get my hands on a valyrian sword through the event chain, but i guess since I don't have access to the sea, the event isn't activating?? I have befriended Prince Doran of Dorne and have been training him to fight with swords. He after many wars, now become the hand of the king and regent of the iron throne. I have been slowly pressing claims in Dorne for the control of the rest of the mountain regions. I have trained my eldest daughter to be a formidable fighter as she squired under me. She is now my heir with really good potential, and I couldn't be more proud. I'm excited to see where this will go. I shall always be loyal and defend Dorne, but who knows, that might just mean I will need to personally lead it to its independence and control over all of westeros. Only time will tell.
