where is file for custom races and custom rulers??

In AoW 3 there was a file that continually updated as you created custom heroes. that way you could copy that file, store it in a safe place, and hence never have to recreate those heroes again

so where are these files for AoW 4??

There's an individual .AOWL-file for each Lord and its associated empire/faction, but you will need to check the info.txt to know which file is for which lord.

I have not found a way to edit the .AWOL files, which is frustrating. I really wish they'd stuck to something like the wonderful .xml formats of Stellaris, with everything above-board.
