hello, I feel silly, but I would like to know where it's possible to get the demo of CK? I mean is a beta release yet? and if yes, how to get it? More specifically, for paradox people, I am ready to spend some time to give you help if you need it.

Paradox (and while snowball is producing the game it's based on the EU engine) has a policy of no demos because they would have to release the whole game and put artificial restrictions in the demo (amount of play time, options, etc). These restrictions would be easy to circumvent, so it would be like giving the game away.

Beta isn't out either, it should be coming soon (;):p*) and then a public call for Beta tester applications should start.

*an in joke for those who have been at this board long enough.

Yep, from his post earlier, Sergei seems pretty sure of the beta start at about the middle of May. He seems to be serious about it this time.:)

um... yeah... I stopped watchfully waiting for a CK beta about the middle of February. It'll come when it comes. ;)

About a DEMO somedays before the lunch of the game paradox could put a demo not-playabel so the people who didn't entered the Beta-testing ( I hope not me ;) :p ) could se what they can do...

Hm... Where did I put those locks... Ah - there!

sting02: There is a sticky post with info about the beta. The question of demos has been raised with regard to EU and HoI earlier, and as CK is based on the same foundation I assume the result is the same too: No demo.
