Late last night I was playing Brandenburg in an IGC 2.0 game. I had a fairly large alliance [England/Netherlands/Denmark/Prussia] mainly to help me hold off the large neighbors [Poland and Austria] and to nab a province in an opportunistic war should one arise.

In any case, Denmark eventually DoWs Sweden and asks me to come into the war [England and Netherlands dishonor, Prussia DoWs]. Sweden is a pretty big country, so I decide to save the game and think about it a bit.

This morning I decide to DoW Sweden on behalf of my Danish allies. I load the game and discover that the DoW window is gone. I'm not at war with Sweden, and I am still in an alliance with Prussia and Denmark.

I'm still not entirely sure it was a good thing, but it was certainly interesting . . .
