I haven't done it in EU, but I admit, the idea of conquering the world sounds like a lot of fun to me. But would it really be fun in CK? You conquer all of Europe, than you switch to EU2. Who will stop you? Who else will you know diplomatically, or who will be your rivals? I think conquering the game in CK will not be a smart idea.

I think CK will (or at least should) be made so that it would be nigh on impossible to conquer all of europe, what with too large kingdom falling to pieces every time the king dies with several children or childless.

Conquest of the world will be impossible in CK since you would need a Casus belli to declare war IIRC. ALso, you won't be able to control most of your posessions directly.

Marry Well.

One of the things I look forward to the most in CK is the impossibility (I hope) of having an empire that covers the entire map.:)

Well, I think for some nations it should be more possible to conquer territory than it is for other nations. Obviously, the Byzantine Empire should have an easier time gaining CB's to conquer lost territory (especially Italy, and parts of the Balkans). Now, my hope is the game will make it easier to go to war with these peoples, but very difficult to actually conquer the lands, and then hold onto them (dealing with rebellions and counterattacks). This would be a much better situation for the Byzantine Empire, and a bit more historically accurate, IMHO.

Its amazing how people still can't get your name right Ebson....;)

Using swedish spelling for a danish name ought to be a mortal sin :D

Edit: To stay on topic i hope it will be near impossible to do a world conquest.

If Karl der Grosse had his empire fall to ashes then I am sure we have little chance of conquering Europe. Which reminds me....

Will we have to abide by cultural inheritances? For example, if we were playing in Scandinavia, would our lands have to be divided amongst all our remaining sons?

Most kingdoms were, but for that only one of the sons got to call himself 'king' and the others would usually have to settle with 'duke'. Or?

And I think you could DoW w/o CB? Only that you could only take territory in peace if you had 'CBshield' on it.
