Hello,

I have a long experience modding CK2. I created a massive mod years ago, but with the last patches it got outdated.

These days i was trying to recreate it, at least a small part, to play with some friends. Everything was going fine with the modding, but then a weird bug appeared.

I have been modding localisation of all duchies and counties in Italy, and they work fine. But some of them, the new ones that were added with an update to the game, doesnt get their custom name. The rest are properly replaced but these new ones like: d_aburzzo and PROV1711 (rimini) keep their vanilla ones.

Any idea of how to solve it?

Greetings.

Not an expert, but i'll respond anyway.

What files did you mod and how did you mod the two titles in question ?
Some titles and provinces changed their ids, if i recall correctly.
Then there are the culture specifc names not in localisation, but in landed_titles.
Hmm, what else...

Just my brainfarts without having had any coffee, so bear with me.
I guess your uploaded mod could help to have a look at.

I already solved it myself.

Looks like the new provinces and duchies were saved in other style of document. And so they were overwritting my modded localisation.

Adding a"00_" before the file name solved it ;)

Ah, so i suppose your localisation files still had a z_ infront of the file name instead ?
That's indeed been the case years ago. I think that had changed again with patch 2.7, so around three years.
Good to know that it works now. :)
