Since late 2020 Apple has made good on its promise to transition its computers to use their in-house ARM processors. While running x64 programs is possible using Rosetta 2, the performance is nowhere near as good as the ARM64 versions of the same program.
Now since Apple will transition its whole computer lineup to ARM CPUs, I believe it would be viable for Paradox to release ARM versions of their games.
What is Paradox's stance on this? I haven't found a single official response to this question, even though I found lots of people asking this exact question.

Id love to know this too!!!

While I have no inside info on this, I am pretty sure that no game older than say CK3 will be rewritten for that new hardware platform - the ROI would just not be there.

Most likely in fact only newly released games would be so translated; conceivably Vic3 for instance.
