Windows 10 Game Mode - Have you noticed any performance increase?

I am interested in your experiences about the new mode.

I suspect EU4 is running a little better but saw no big difference to CK2 for example. I am running it on a budget laptop by the way.

Win10 game mode has, at best, no effect at all and at worse actually harms performance. I highly recommend you do NOT use it.

I upgraded to win10 and was horrified of the performance decrease and downgraded back to win7.
Never again.

The topic of the thread is specific to the new Game Mode of Windows 10 in the Creator's Edition, which you obviously didn't use.

Most likely you would have been fine with a clean wipe and install., instead of an inplace upgrade.
