If there are events, related to a character: highlight the interest group of this guy within the events decision options.

Also the political movements should have colores. I find the icons too similar atm.

- Make the conscripts/army raising screen more similar to the construction screen, by showing the number of jobseekers/unemployed (toggleable) in alongside the strategic region; and
- add the option for a strategic region level filter in the outliner (similar to the way sectors/planets work in Stellaris), so you can more easily see where you have the excess manpower if you need to raise a large number of troops, for instance.

Improve the laws system. It's still 3 dice rolls in a trench coat. It's just not fun. Hardly adds anything to actual gameplay.

(bolstering or supressing movements hardly does anything. (If you even get a movement for the law you want))

The events of the laws are annoying as well. Either the penalty is negligible or the penalty is too harsh.
(And if you are forced to reset your bonuses because you went to 0% yet again only your bonuses are reset and not for example the -5% penalty to administration.)

This is exactly the opposite of what this thread was for.

Welp. I should have read the first post instead of only looking at the title. Sorry about that.

Uh. Of the top of my head. When I did a Japan run and I finally could add a company or two. I wanted to see what prestige goods were already being produced in the world market. But it's not listed there. It's only listed in other countries markets or local markets.

Another one:
  • In Market Access, Convoy and Supply Network tooltips make it explicit if low supply network strength is due to the market owner's convoy or infrastructure deficit. This is currently very opaque when playing as a junior.
Not a quality of life suggestion, but maybe a mechanic change here could be allowing subjects to provide a higher proportion of their convoys to their market leader if they have a surplus and the market leader has a deficit. This could maybe even be a subject action/liberty desire interaction where an overlord can impose Impressment on their subject to take control of more convoys at the cost of increased liberty desire.

  • "Government" and "non-company" asset windows that look the same as the current company data tabs
  • When negotiating a treaty for money transfer / goods transfer, there should be a second slider where the player chooses the acceptance change, and not the absolute amount. I'm really tired of trying to set the money transfer "to the minimum possible amount where it will give +20 acceptance", this gives serious "most insane sound volume control" meme vibes

Even just a Most Accepted button would be nice. When sending it would select the lowest possible value of the highest possible acceptance number, and when requesting it would select the highest possible value of the highest possible acceptance number. Less fiddly than another slider.

A proper resource map would be nice, with filter options.

A proper infrastructure map too, with min/max values per state while we're trying to build railroads, same kind for energy.

A better company interface, with filters for unique companies and company types now that we have so many of them.

Allow the upgrade from artillery to tank companies, rebuilding everything is a pain.

It may be more then QoL, but i need this:

Draft a treaty and have a toggle with "sign or ill start a diploplay for this treaty". Essentially gunboat diplomacy.

Forcing a treaty on my vassal.

Making me choose how long a treaty lasts, when its enforced by war (see my first point).

A chart of trading partners by Value aswell, not just by volume.
A GDP breakdown of a country, how much of my GDP is cars, how much is steel, how much is Iron etc. same for the entire world. I want to see how much of World GDP is generated by car production, how much by grain etc.
Companies UI tab full rework, period
Better explanations overall, reading some tooltips is really confusing, like trade advantage.

Less clutter in Armies, auto promote generals, auto move to front, auto defend against naval invasion, more automation. Same with Naval battles. Also - no more AI splitting armies into 1000 small chunks.
Auto expand trade center if all trade capacity is used.
IDK if this applies, but also less weird treaties from AI, and less investment rights treaties overall.

I just disagree with the automove on generals.

When they do it on their own, sometimes, it's enough to drive me crazy.

IE: I have this front of nothing but defensive generals, all with mountain experts for defensive bonuses, a 100 infantry army meant to never push back and just hold, defend, and mow down enemy troops to stop them in the persian region, I take my eyes off the region for 15 seconds and Mr.Duddit Mcmuffins, a general I only hired to roll for better generals, or an offensive general of an actual offensive army, with open terrain expert, which is useless in the region, finished taking an empty front somewhere in africa and moved on his own to that front, and is now trying to attack the enemies instead of just sitting back and defending with those massive bonuses, getting all of my soldiers killed.

Worse, sometimes they don't even attack, but just by being in the wrong front he can get attacked, without the correct bonuses for the terrain he now found himself into and he's getting all my defenders killed.

When a front splits, sure, let them move to the nearest one, but never move to another front on their own, I'd rather have them demobilize when they are done than that.

What I mean is I wish there was some "higher" button than the one we have now. Like: "send armies to" -> we choose armies -> we choose front. Automove would. be bad, correct.

ALso apply mobilization methods to all armies, mobilize all armies in region, etc. If i station 4 armies in Rhineland, it's just tedious to move them all to border with France, promote all generals by hand etc.

If we have upgrade all units, why not "mobilize all", or like being able to create a "war plan" that is followed in case of war.

EDIT: However, navy is really something I wish was more automatic. Especially when AI has some weird small stacks just flying around (got better this patch). WIsh I could just give an order to my navy or like a "task force" with fleets inside it like "defend trade", "blockade", "engage enemy" without having to play whack-a-mole

Nerf investment right acceptance overall. It's just insane. Everyone's investing into everyone. Same with foreign construction logic. I haven't played ENG after 1.9.6 just yet, but before that my private construction kept building/privatizing stuff in India for like first 10 years lol.

Yes, I feel like in real life this kind of "government investing in foreign economies" activity was probably pretty rare in the 1800s. And I've seen it used as sways in ridiculous circumstances. Haiti swayed Russia into a war with me as France by using "investment rights in Tahiti" as a war goal

If you're interested I actually have some sources on this. Varied from country to country, Russia later on was heavily invested into, France not so much, USA a little. Nothing compared to VIc3 madness though. Can I post links here?
