Without Time

I'm italian Paulopanz. P4; XP; Nvidia 5700 Ultra; EAX2; Dx 9c; latest drivers; patch 104bITA constumer.
This is my problem, i don't know if it's new.
The game date has no year and day and the display shows only "ANNO" e "G" for the appropriate numbers.
The italian patch not solved the problem.
Please help.

I know one other person reported this but the server is too slow to find that thread right now.
So if that forum cannot tell you right away the answer then pop back to this thread and I will dig further for you.

I have to tell you that the patch 104aita has the same problem and i don't think that every costumer 'll be able to correct into the text excell document the mistaken translation.

He mean not everyone with an italian CK can have the skill to mod the text files (excel format) in order to solve the "bug" reported in this thread by himself.

For the truth, I do not think is so hard: here the LINK to the solution, and the solution...

- andate nella cartella ...\crusader kings\config\ e aprite il file text.csv
- cercate (ricerca automatica) la parola DATE; (anche il punto e virgola)
- vedrete due stringhe come queste:

DATE;M G, A;;;;;;;;;;x
TIME;H:00 M G, A;;;;;;;;;;x

- sostituitele con queste:

DATE;M D, Y;;;;;;;;;;x
TIME;H:00 M D, Y;;;;;;;;;;x

- chiudete salvando

- go to ...\crusader kings\config\ and open the file text.csv with a text editor
- search (automatic search) for the word DATE; (semicolon included)
- you'll see two lines like those:

DATE;M G, A;;;;;;;;;;x
TIME;H:00 M G, A;;;;;;;;;;x

- replace them with those:

DATE;M D, Y;;;;;;;;;;x
TIME;H:00 M D, Y;;;;;;;;;;x

- exit saving

Why not edit a copy then put a fixed copy of the text file online so those not comfortable can download it. and then just copy it over the old file.

Well, text.csv is the main text file for CK. I was thinkin about a copyrights problem, or problems about a net distribution of a file mostly untouched (just fixed those two lines) with the local publisher...
Am I creating too much problems to myself? o

Post it here as an attachment or ask the publisher to host it.
You could get it as part of a patch anyway right.
